Today is National Social Media Day. The East Madison Fire Territory works had to keep our followers up to date with local events, department happenings as well as important safety messages to keep everyone safe. Our Public Affairs and Outreach division has worked hard the past 2 years to increase our followers, build our department website and provide outreach materials to the community. Today we celebrate over 7,000 followers on our social media platforms.
In addition to our social media platforms, we also have a department website which is used as a central location for factual and up to date information, that the public needs to be aware of. In the past 30 days, we have added a lot of Fire Prevention, and Safety related articles, as well as other important messages to our website. At East Madison Fire Territory, we want to provide our followers with the most reliable, up to date, information possible to keep you safe and informed.
