Early Morning Fire Destroys a House on River Bluff Road

Madison County, IN – Earlier today, East Madison Fire Territory firefighters were dispatched to a house fire on River Bluff Road.  The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.  A neighbor saw the fire and called 9-1-1.  Fire crews arrived on scene and found heavy fire through the roof and throughout the entire house.  Crews quickly made an attack on the fire. The home was a total loss. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. The origin and cause of the fire are still under investigation at this time.
