In celebration of Fire Prevention Week, the East Madison Fire Territory warmly welcomes you, your family, and friends to join us for a unique opportunity to discover the world of fire safety. Our open houses, taking place at both of our fire stations, promise an exciting and educational experience for everyone.
Engaging Station Tours
Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a fire station? Here’s your chance to find out! Our friendly and dedicated firefighters will be on hand to give you an exclusive tour of our state-of-the-art facilities. You’ll get to see our equipment up close, explore our fire trucks, and even try on some of our gear. It’s an interactive experience that’s perfect for all ages.
Meet Our Heroes
At East Madison Fire Territory, our heroes wear uniforms. During your visit, you’ll have the chance to meet and chat with some of the brave men and women who serve our community day in and day out. Feel free to ask questions, hear their stories, and gain a deeper understanding of the vital role they play in keeping our community safe.
Fun for the Kids
We haven’t forgotten about the little ones! We’ll have a special area set up just for kids, where they can enjoy engaging activities related to fire safety. They can try on firefighter gear, and learn about fire prevention designed to educate and inspire them to stay safe.
Fire Prevention Materials
To reinforce the importance of fire safety, we’ll be offering free fire prevention materials for both children and adults. These informative resources will help you and your family better understand fire hazards, prevention techniques, and emergency preparedness. It’s our way of empowering you with knowledge to keep your loved ones safe.
