The East Madison Fire Territory recently held a ceremony to swear in four recently promoted lieutenants, marking a significant moment in the history of the department. The significance of these recent promotions is that the department now has full-time career lieutenants at both stations and on all three of our 24-hour shifts. These officers lead our other full-time and part-time firefighters and EMTs who staff our apparatus. This is yet another step in the progression of our Fire Territory to better serve the public.
