Suspect Apprehended in Connection with Three Fires in Union Township, Madison County, IN
East Madison Fire Territory, Madison County, IN – This afternoon (January 4, 2024), Fire Investigators with the East Madison Fire Territory, working in cooperation with the Chesterfield Police Department, arrested Tristin J. Clemons, a 19-year-old male of Anderson, IN, on three counts of Level 6 Felony Arson.
This fire investigation is a result of three separate fires at the suspect’s residence on Scotch Pine Drive in Union Township, which have occurred over the past 2 ½ months.
Tristin Clemons was transported to the Madison County Jail to be booked and processed. This arrest is merely an accusation. The suspect should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The Madison County Prosecutor’s Office will make the final decision on formal charges.
