Squad 51 is a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe that is used as our paramedic intercept squad that responds on medical calls requiring Advanced Life Support, structure fires, vehicle accidents, hazardous materials calls, dive rescue calls and any other type of serious life threatening incidents within East Madison Fire Territory. Our paramedics respond to neighboring jurisdictions to provide mutual aid when called upon. The 2023 Tahoe replaces the previous Squad 51 which was a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe (pictured below)
Old Squad 51 is a 2013 Chevy Tahoe and serves as our Advanced Life Support squad that responds as a paramedic to intercept Basic Life Support ambulances in Madison County and neighboring communities when requested. Squad 51 is based out of our south station located in Chesterfield, IN.
